trio kobayashi consists of anna robinson on french horn, matt barbier on trombone and luke storm on tuba.
Kobayashi was initially formed to perform the music of Wolfgang von Schweinitz .
the trio has premiered works by Wolfgang von Schweinitz , Ulrich Krieger, Ori Barel and Larry Polansky. we are currently working on projects with Marc Sabat, Douglas Wadle, Michael Fink, Nick Deyoe and several other, primarily LA based, composers.
in the spring, trio kobayashi will be appearing at redcat theater (5/1 and 5/16) to perform the Plainsound Brass Trio. in addition to performing on LA's microfest (6/13).
